Guruvarya Balkrushna Shankar Upadhye is considered to be one of the greatest violin maestros of India. He is the founder of the Upadhye's Violin Vadan Vidyalaya, a prestigious violin academy that has been running for over 73 years.
Upadhye's journey in the world of music began with his initial training in Violin. However, it was his passion for the violin that truly drove him towards greatness. He received tutelage in the art of playing the violin from some of the most renowned musicians of his time, including Yehudi Menuhin, Devgandharv Bhaskarbua Bakhle, and the legendary violinist Pandit Shridhar Parsekar.
